is one of the leading computer educational facilities in the Philippines

Made possible by a grant from ThePacificaCompanies
LLC – a USA based developer of e-commerce businesses –
a pilot “E-Commerce Training
Academy” is in the process of being organized
at AMA’s Mindanao
Cagayan de Oro Campus.
The purpose of the tuition-free
Training Academy is to provide AMA’s third/forth year students
and graduates with access to participation in the design and development
and day-to-day management experience of ‘real life’
e-commerce companies.
One of the impediments to securing
employment that new graduates have anywhere in the world –
is the fact that they have “no real world work
experience”. AMA intends to help fill that void for its
graduates by providing them ‘real life e-commerce work credentials’
for prospective future employers.
ThePacificaCompnies LLC is a USA based e-commerce developer that
has been working on the Internet for almost 2 decades –
since before encryption made secure transactions possible - almost
‘since the beginning of time’ on the Web. We utilize
USA web servers and comply with all USA Internet laws and regulations.
Years back, we made some successful
investments in Internet Properties. One of our principals ‘quasi-retired’
to the Philippines to find an amazing wealth of Internet technical
and design talent – and an abysmal lack of employment opportunities.
Helping to organize and fund the “E-Commerce Training Academy”
is a small venue to give the world access to Philippine e-commerce
minds and talent – and is a form of tithe to the industry
that has provided so much good to the world.
